A: The golden rule of material handling is that the smallest item being conveyed must be supported by a minimum of three rollers at all times. If your smallest box is 150mm long, you must select a track with a pitch of 50mm or less to ensure the box does not tip or jam between the wheels.
Q: Can these roller tracks be used in wet or washdown environments?
A: If you select our Aluminum Profile paired with Polyamide Rollers and Stainless Steel Pins, the track is highly resistant to moisture and can be used in damp environments. Standard galvanized steel profiles are excellent for dry warehouses but will eventually oxidize under constant high-pressure washdowns.

Q: Can I cut the rails to size myself on-site?
A: Yes. Both the aluminum and galvanized steel tracks can be cut on-site using standard industrial metal-cutting band saws or chop saws.
