For those specific high-heat or UV environments, you must specify our Custom Red EPDM or Silicone Rollers.

Q: Will the Green NBR roller fade or discolor over time?
A: In standard indoor industrial environments, the color remains highly stable. However, intense, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or harsh chemical washdowns may cause slight surface fading over years of use. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the mechanical or oil-resistant properties of the rubber.

A: For applications requiring a gentle touch and high grip—like pulling delicate paper webs, textiles, or plastic films—a softer durometer (e.g., 40A - 55A) is ideal. For driving heavy-duty conveyor belts, bearing massive payloads, or applying high nip pressure in laminating, a harder durometer (e.g., 75A - 90A) is required to prevent the rubber from compressing too much.
