If your roller operates at room temperature (like dough sheeting or biscuit cutting), NBR will last much longer without chunking or tearing.

Q: Can you re-cover our existing stainless steel food rollers?
A: Absolutely. 304/316 Stainless Steel cores are very expensive. We highly recommend our re-rubberizing service. Send us your worn white rollers; we will cleanly strip the old rubber, sanitize the stainless core, and mold a brand new FDA-compliant NBR layer onto it.

Q: Are these rollers safe for acidic foods like citrus or tomatoes?
A: Standard NBR handles mild food acids well. However, if your line processes highly acidic foods, please inform our engineers. We can adjust the compound to ensure maximum chemical resistance against citric or acetic acids.

A: They can be cleaned with standard food-facility CIP (Clean-in-Place) foaming agents, warm water, and mild sanitizers. However, avoid using sharp metal scrapers to remove dried dough, as this can slice the rubber. Use plastic or nylon dough scrapers.
