Industrial Green PU Coated Drive Rollers

Product Overview:
In high-volume material handling, woodworking, and packaging lines, standard rubber drive rollers simply cannot survive. Under heavy loads or continuous abrasive friction, conventional rubber quickly chunks, tears, and leaves disastrous black scuff marks on your products. The AstraRoll Industrial Green PU Coated Drive Roller is engineered to conquer these extreme mechanical environments. Utilizing advanced hot-cast liquid polyurethane, our rollers boast an abrasion resistance that outlasts standard rubber by up to 5 times. The signature green PU formulation delivers an unparalleled combination of massive load-bearing capacity, extreme cut-and-tear resistance, and a 100% non-marking surface. Whether you are driving heavy conveyor belts, feeding abrasive corrugated cardboard, or guiding delicate glass panels, AstraRoll PU rollers guarantee unyielding traction and radically reduced maintenance downtime.

The AstraRoll Technical Advantage
Casting a high-performance PU roller that resists delamination under high torque requires strict chemical and thermal control:
Extreme Abrasion Resistance: Polyurethane is the undisputed king of wear resistance among elastomers. Our hot-cast PU formulations withstand continuous friction from abrasive materials (like wood dust, metal shavings, and cardboard) without premature degradation.
Massive Load Capacity: Standard rubber compresses and flattens out ("flat-spots") when left under heavy static loads. AstraRoll PU maintains its structural integrity and rapidly recovers its shape, smoothly supporting payloads that would crush standard elastomers.
100% Non-Marking & Oil Resistant: Unlike black rubber filled with carbon, our green PU will never leave scuff marks on white conveyor belts or finished packaging. Furthermore, PU offers excellent resistance to industrial lubricating oils and mild solvents.
Unbreakable Core Adhesion: The highest failure rate in drive rollers occurs when the coating shears off the metal shaft. We utilize a rigorous multi-stage sandblasting, degreasing, and proprietary chemical priming process before casting, ensuring an indestructible bond between the steel core and the urethane jacket.

Why Choose AstraRoll?
1. Precision Liquid Casting
We do not use cheap, low-grade injection-molded TPU. AstraRoll utilizes precision hot-cast liquid polyurethane technology. This thermoset curing process ensures a superior cross-linked molecular structure, completely eliminating internal stresses and delivering the absolute highest mechanical performance available in the industry.
2. Core Manufacturing & Recovering Services
AstraRoll is a turnkey manufacturer. We machine the internal steel cores, press the bearings, and cast the PU entirely in-house. Additionally, if your existing machine rollers are worn out, simply ship us the old metal cores. We will strip the degraded material and apply a fresh, brand-new PU coating at a fraction of the cost of buying a complete OEM replacement roller.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: Why are these rollers specifically "Green"? Can I get other colors?
A: While we can cast polyurethane in almost any custom color (Red, Blue, Yellow, Clear), "Industrial Green" has become the universally recognized visual standard for high-hardness, extreme-wear PU formulations used in heavy-duty drive and feed applications.
Q: Can PU rollers be used in high-temperature ovens or hot-melt coaters?
A: No. Polyurethane's major limitation is heat. It performs exceptionally well in standard ambient temperatures but will begin to soften and rapidly degrade if continuously exposed to temperatures above 80°C–90°C (176°F–194°F). If your process involves high heat, you must select our Custom Silicone Rollers.
Q: How do I choose the right durometer (hardness) for my PU roller?
A: If you need maximum grip to pull thin films or paper, choose a softer PU (e.g., 60A - 70A). If you are supporting massive weight (like heavy metal sheets) or driving a high-tension conveyor belt where abrasion is extreme, choose a harder PU (e.g., 85A - 95A). Our engineers will help you select the perfect compound.
Q1. Are you a trader or direct factory?
