AstraRoll‘s Custom Food Grade Nylon Spiral Cleaning Roller Brush is engineered for cleaning, peeling, and surface polishing of fruits, vegetables, and root crops, as well as industrial conveyor belt cleaning. The brush consists of a continuous nylon filament wound in a spiral pattern around a central shaft. This spiral construction provides uniform filament density and consistent contact pressure across the full working face, eliminating the streaking and dead zones that can occur with tufted brush patterns in high-speed cleaning applications.

The filament is food-grade nylon (PA6/PA66), selected for flexibility, fatigue resistance, and suitability for direct contact with produce. Filament diameter is matched to the duty: 0.3mm soft filament for delicate washing and polishing, and 0.7–0.8mm filament for heavier peeling applications such as potatoes and carrots. The shaft is machined from stainless steel, with end rings to retain the filament, and can be supplied with custom shaft extensions or mounting ends.
