AstraRoll’s Custom Food Grade White PU PVC Conveyor Belt is engineered for direct food contact in processing, packaging and conveying lines. Manufactured from food-grade PU or PVC with a polyester fabric carcass, it complies with FDA food contact regulations and EU 10/2011. The non-toxic, odorless and easy-to-clean surface resists oil, fat, mild chemicals and moisture, suitable for bakery, confectionery, meat, poultry, seafood, fruit, vegetable and dairy production.

The belt is available in 1-ply, 2-ply and 3-ply constructions, 0.8mm to 4.0mm total thickness. Its rough top surface (grip top or rice grain) provides higher friction than smooth belts, preventing product slippage on inclines. Tensile strength reaches up to 80 N/mm depending on construction, with force at 1% elongation from 6 N/mm to 11 N/mm. Working temperature: PU -20°C to +80°C; PVC -10°C to +60°C. Custom widths up to 4000mm, cleats, sidewalls, V-guides and perforations are available. The belt suits slider bed, roller bed and PEHD support systems. Minimum pulley diameter varies with thickness and temperature; at 20°C, a 1.2mm belt requires a minimum pulley diameter of 20mm, and lower temperatures require larger diameters. Splicing is by hot splicing, finger splice or mechanical fasteners.
