AstraRoll’s Custom Green PVC Corrugated Sidewall Conveyor Belt is engineered for steep-angle and vertical conveying of loose bulk materials in food processing, packaging, agriculture, electronics and general industrial handling. The belt consists of three functional elements: a base belt, corrugated sidewalls on both edges, and transverse cleats. The sidewalls prevent lateral material spillage, while the cleats support the load and prevent rollback on inclines. This structure enables conveying at angles from 0° to 90°, eliminating the need for multiple transfer points and reducing layout footprint.

The base belt is made from green PVC combined with polyester fabric layers, providing dimensional stability, tensile strength and resistance to stretching during operation. PVC offers natural moisture resistance and is compatible with common food-industry cleaning agents. Food-grade PVC options are available for applications involving direct food contact. The corrugated sidewalls and cleats are integrally welded to the base belt to form a continuous, high-strength structure, allowing the belt to flex smoothly around small-diameter pulleys while maintaining the material pocket.
